Things I Like To Do @ 8 Months Old

Josiah just turned 8 months old and here are some things he likes to do now!

He likes to ....
play in the covers!
...test everything by putting it in his mouth!
...watch TV with Daddy!
...Play with his cousin, Hannah!
This is at Lilly's 1 year-old birthday party! Lilly is Ryan & Kristin daughter (Ryan is Paul's cousin!). They set up these cute tents and the kids loved them!
Daddy and Uncle Nate with more cousins - Emery, Hannah, and Lilly!
Josiah likes to "feel" things with his feet and toes. In the car he saw this brown bag and was playing with it with his toes. It was so funny!
Josiah just discovered that vegetables are not as yummy as fruit! He does NOT like veggies! One of his tactics to not eat them is to lower his chin and purse his lips tightly.
He will also just scowl and throw a little fit! Thankfully, my sister Amy gave me the advice to mix the veggies into the fruit... now he eats them both!
Josiah just started noticing and liking dogs! Here he's petting Mya, my sister Erica's dog!
Hangin with Daddy and watching TV... probably football (which Josiah really does watch and smiles when it comes on TV!).
He wants to be on his tummy all the time now! He is really trying to crawl!
Josiah LOVES paper! He grabs the magazines under our coffee table and goes crazy ripping them! He can't get enough of it! : )

BATH TIME is the high light of the day! He has a new "big boy" tub!

He loves all of his toys!
Josiah also absolutely LOVES books. He will sit and concentrate on each book and read one after another with me. He just started turning the pages too!
Happy boy!
Cute boy!
Today in our church service we learned about God's grace and forgiveness based off of Matthew 18:21-35. Our pastor said, "Those who truly understand God's grace are forgiving people. This is not a natural feeling, it's miraculous! Our call as the forgiven is not to be better or try harder but to see things through the merciful lens of what Jesus did on the cross."

God just reminded Paul and I through this service of His amazing grace and love for us in giving us Josiah. What an act of love in giving us the desires of our hearts! PTL!
